Bill Clinton Once Said…

William Jefferson Clinton was born on August 19, 1946. Bill is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001.

If you live long enough, you’ll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you’ll be a better person. It’s how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit. – William J. Clinton

Words I try to live by and not because Bill Clinton said them, they’ve been said before by others that if you learn from mistakes it makes you a better person because you become stronger in the broken places. You gain more wisdom from learning how to do something the right way from doing it improperly. The last part of never quitting is perseverance, don’t quit, never quit or never give up. Same difference. One thing to remember when trying something over again is to do things differently for a better outcome.

We must teach our children to resolve their conflicts with words, not weapons. – Bill Clinton

I agree we learn more and resolve more issue by using your words and communicating rather than inflicting bodily harm with weapons or fists. I get that in older times that many parents used words along with a spanking or the strap, belt, etc but I think if done right and if the other is also responsive you don’t have to raise your hand to your child or other to make your point. You don’t even have to raise your hands on someone to make your point. Taught properly in life to listen to reason from words is the utmost importance.

The world has always been more impressed by the power of our example than by the example of our power. – Bill Clinton

This is something I feel hasn’t been taught well nor learned. We tend to see the big things rather than the littler things that take longer that tend to make a bigger or better difference. We need to learn more patience and learn that sometimes it takes awhile to accomplish things. It takes dedication, perseverance and time to accomplish many things that make a big difference. That’s what I am trying to do with my writing is help people by showing people how I’ve handled things and what I’ve done. Also show people things they may not get to see in person.

Don’t Stop – Fleetwood Mac

I wanted to add the song I remember the Clinton’s playing during his campaign and when he got the presidency.
