Thomas Jacob “Jack” Black was born on August 28, 1969. Jack is an actor, comedian, singer, songwriter, and YouTube personality. He is someone that makes me laugh and that I find entertaining.
I find that through my writing, my art, photography that I am expressing my thoughts and showing people things that they wouldn’t normally get to see. I want to share things with the people I love so that they can experience it too. I write for myself but I also write for those who don’t know that they need to hear what I have to say. I want someone to be able to search for something and come across something I’ve written and for them to be given options, ideas on what to do or how to handle a situation. I want people that see my pictures of places I’ve been to be interested and want to go to those places.
This made me laugh probably a bit too much. I think it was the millennials that started YOLO (You Only Live Once) and you see many people on Instagram, Facebook or YouTube doing really stupid things with the hashtag #yolo or just captioning it YOLO. Well yes, let the buyer beware there are many stupid people that are out there and they probably should think before they do half the shit they do instead of being so impulsive.
Whatever works I say. I know that music, either by laying back with your ear buds and listening to your favorite songs, turning up the stereo at home or in the car while you’re driving or being at a concert I know I have felt the tingling sensation of transcendence when it comes to music. I have also felt it when I am taking photographs, if I’m in the moment and I’m just seeing what needs to be captured and doing it it’s almost like an out of body experience. This can happen with many different things. I have found that when concentrating on reading you get inside the book and forget your surroundings, I have found with writing that you can get into a rant or place that it’s just flowing and everything else just fades to the background. It’s good to be able to connect to something, whether it be your art, writing, a good book, a movie, game or drawing, taking pictures, whatever it is… because you create or capture special things in those times.
