Chris Noth Once Said…

Christopher David Noth was born on November 13, 1954. is an American actor. I loved him as Mr. Big in the HBO series, Sex in the City with Sarah Jessica Parker but I also enjoyed him as detective Mike Logan on Law & Order.

We need healthy forests if we want to protect our climate. As the climate changes, forests become more vulnerable to insect outbreaks, droughts and wildfires. Simultaneously, when our forests are destroyed, their carbon is released back into the atmosphere, further impacting climate change. It’s a horrifying one-two punch – Chris Noth

Chris Noth was born in my home-state of Wisconsin. Like Chris, I also feel strongly about protecting our planet and forests. Since I moved to Ohio I realized that Wisconsin may have a lot of trees but Ohio has more and they’re also much older than the ones in Wisconsin’s logging country. We have to be mindful because we need our trees.

Most people know that forests are the lungs of our planet, literally playing a critical role in every breath we take. And that they’re also home to incredible animals like the orangutan and elephant,, which will be extinct if we keep cutting down their forests. – Chris Noth

This is the shame of forestry, or at least some. Since we inhabited this planet and have been making it our home we have reshaped many things by cutting down trees to use the wood to build homes, also to make paper because it took a long time before things were more digital and it took awhile for recycling to become a thing so there was a lot of waste. We managed in this time to make many species go extinct and we’ll never get that back and if we’re not careful, we’ll also extinct ourselves.

In society, we have these unspoken rules of conduct, these ‘shoulds.’ Even though we pride ourselves on being a democracy, there are all these ways we say you ‘should’ behave. But what if you’re living your life by the ‘shoulds’ and you’re not really living your life. – Chris Noth

I agree to a certain extent with this because while there are a lot of things that we’re expected to do in life I think sometimes we may go a bit overboard as to what exactly those things are. Sometimes to the extent that we aren’t just spontaneous or do things. We second guess ourselves and think of what others may think like we don’t have a mind of our own.
