Glenn Beck Once Said…

Glenn Lee Beck was born on February 10, 1964. Glenn is an American conservative political commentator, conspiracy theorist, radio host, and television producer.

When you choose the path, you choose the destination. – Glenn Beck

I think we often do choose our own paths in life and I think we can also be led astray from those paths at times. Does your path predict your destination? I am not sure how true that is, some would say that is absolutely true. I don’t believe that we necessarily think about it with our choices all the time. We cannot predict what the future holds and sure we can do our best to steer it in the right direction. Is it fate? I don’t think there is fate or destiny. I think it is more that we make choices and sometimes shit happens.

Remember, beneath every cynic there lies a romantic, and probably an injured one. – Glenn Beck

I know this to be true because in my way I am a bit of a cynic but I think when you have traumatic life experiences it is difficult to not be cynical. We have to learn that life can be shitty at times and you have to work on the parts that weren’t so pleasant in order to view it differently or at least deal with it in such a way that empowers you. That doesn’t always happen in life, some people shit happens to and they in turn decide to be shitty people. I decided not to be a shitty person and to empower myself and others.

Every time the government grows we lose more of who we are. – Glenn Beck

As a libertarian I do believe in this wholeheartedly. Our government is out of control in size and in it’s popularity. I believe we can do more with less government which is why I am a libertarian. We don’t need greedy politicians with insanely long terms in office making decisions by taking bribes from the rich. Yes this is why I find our government repugnant. I think there are a lot of people like me that also do and it really is beyond high time that we do something about it. Make proper changes, end term limits and take control of the government. It’s less about the people and more about the politicians and only the people will be able to change any of it.
