Sheryl Crow Once Said… All I Wanna do is Have Some Fun

Sheryl Suzanne Crow was born on February 11, 1962. Sheryl is a musician, singer, songwriter, and actress.

The only person who can save you is you. That was going to be the thing that informed the rest of my life. – Sheryl Crow

This is true in many perspectives. I think though there are some exceptions such as if one has to have some kind of surgery (life-saving) a doctor would be able to help but I think Sheryl is talking more about who has the choices in your life or power to choose what to do in your life. Not so much literally saving you from dying but who has the power in ones life, that is you. It’s not your teachers, not your parents, not your spouse or family. Just you. You’re the one that gets to choose what you want to do in your life. I’m not saying there’s not limitations but you can choose how to deal with those limitations.

As you get older, you have your tribe of women that you grow and age gracefully with and you share wisdom with. That’s your clan. That’s your family. That’s your strength. – Sheryl Crow

And I am very thankful for my clan or tribe that have been here to help me grow, that have been here cheering me on, helping pick me up. I may not say it every day but I am grateful for each and every one of you. I don’t think it is limited to women in your tribe but I do think that it’s mostly women in my tribe. My mother spirits, I thank you and still need you.

Making miracles is hard work, most people give up before they happen. – Sheryl Crow

I do believe in miracles, not all of them of course but I do believe that they exist and that they aren’t easy to come by and sometimes in life we get to see miracles. I think that the power behind them lies within us and we have the ability to make them happen, not on a whim, when you want but I think sometimes we get lucky enough to experience one or more. Just have to open yourself up to the possibility.

You Don’t Know how it Feels – Sheryl Crow (Tribute to Tom Petty)

I thought since I usually include songs with musicians that I’d give you something new and something I’ve always enjoyed from Sheryl Crow so I chose her tribute to Tom Petty that she did on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and one of her first hits, All I Wanna Do.
